Join us on Saturday, April 6th, from 9am to Noon, for our SGCA Spring Cleanup, run in conjunction with the 2024 Philly Spring Cleanup.

The Philly Spring Cleanup is the Street Department's signature event, and this year promises to be the biggest turnout ever with Mayor Cherelle Parker's 100-Day Action Plan to make Philadelphia a 'cleaner and greener' city for all residents.

Clean up Supplies (rakes, brooms, trash bags etc.) and refreshments will be available at 9am at Roberto Clemente Playground (entrance at 18th & Wallace Streets), where we will also be hosting a 'Care for Clemente Day' to help prepare the park and playground for the spring and summer months.

Please leave bags on corners between Fairmount Ave and Spring Garden Street, from Broad Street to Pennsylvania Ave, for City truck pick-ups. Bags should not be over 40 pounds and left out no later than noon.

Sign-up to clean specific blocks around the neighborhood or to help out at Clemente.
